FEATURED CASE STUDY: WeAreQR
Thomas Design were approached by Steffan Gimblett (CEO of WeAreQR) to create a new brand identity, logo design and bespoke website to generate QR codes for users to manage. The concept was innovative and was already building traction within the NHS. Medical clinics were distributing information to their patients using posters, advertising QR codes to be scanned on mobile devices instead of leaflets. WeAreQR needed a user-friendly online platform to allow users to register, sign-up to an account and begin creating and personalising dynamic QR codes for a variety of different uses.
Over a series of weeks, a bespoke platform was developed in-house that met all the requirements of WeAreQR. These included Ajax page loading, custom designed QR template layouts, customisation features for users to choose frames and colour codes, as well as the ability to upload company logos to brand the codes themselves. The entire system was built around a CMS so front-end users can login online and generate codes quickly and easily 24/7 allowing the system to be self-sufficient for WeAreQr.
