Freelance ASP/ASP.NET Developer
We're on the lookout for talented freelance ASP/ASP.NET developers to enhance our services and help us out during busy periods.

The type of projects we regularly work on include CMS, e-commerce applications, user management systems and email marketing.

You'll need solid ASP/ASP.NET experience, ideally gained in a professional environment as well as 2-3+ years experience in coding HTML, XHTML and CSS and developing in accordance to W3C guidelines. Solid experience of client-side integration with server-side applications is a must.

Thomas Design gets a facelift

It maybe a little overdue but Thomas Design finally gets a new logo and a much needed facelift. Like any business it inevitably has to adapt to keep with the times and where our core services have expanded and modernised to meet the demands of our customers, our logo and stationery was seriously slacking behind! Our aim was to create a simplistic, modern style logo that could easily be adapted to suit most requirements and clearly portray the type of business we are; and the diverse services we are now able to offer.

Thomas Design awarded EVAD project

EVAD Development Trust is a not for profit community based organisation that operates a number of projects and services that are either community or business focused. Community based services include the provision of youth facilities and operating a number of “Info Shops”. Thomas Design are delighted to have been awarded the project to design and develop their new CMS website using our latest user-friendly Content Management System .

E-commerce the way forward for retailers

The latest figures released for 2007 show that Internet shopping made up 15p in every pound of retail spending. Online sales leapt to a record £46.6bn in 2007, up 50% on the previous year! These figures provide firm evidence that consumer confidence in Internet shopping is rapidly increasing and provides very exciting prospects for online retailers. Reports also suggest that virtually all growth in retail is now online and the Internet has now become 'dynamo' for retailers. On Christmas day alone, some 4.5 million people across the UK bought goods online worth a staggering £84m, up 269% on the previous year! Online retail has never been better and provides real opportunities to retailers looking to expand their business and increase profits.
