Resounding online success for Rainbow Clothing

Rainbow Clothing are one of our latest success stories we wanted to share regarding online retailing, and a perfect example of how successful a small online store can be! We can harp on about how good online retailing can be if it's done correctly but our motto has always been that the proof is in the pudding, so have a read of the below example and make up your own mind!
Rainbow have over 20 years 'bricks and mortar' retail experience but are relatively new to online trading, but just over 12 months from going online with a store developed by Thomas Design, they were receiving on average; approximately 4500 unique visitors per month, or if you do the maths; 150 unique visitors each day!
Don't confuse 'unique visitors' with 'hits' which are often quoted, 'hits' as their often referred too really don't give any real indication of how many people have visited or how many of them are repeat visitors, 'unique visits' on the other hand is the amount of individual users to have visited your website that particular day or month.
To get a real understanding of the above figures you need to ask yourself one simple question:
How much difference would it make to me if 150 additional customers walked into our store or business each day?
This doesn't just apply to online shopping but the same principle applies for the services sector so for example, if your business provides a service then the same applies, if done correctly there is no reason why a website shouldn't attract new customers to your business.
